Orion's Carpet Cleaning Process:

Initial Inspection. During this step technician will inspect your carpet and ask you to show any particular spots or areas of your concern. After initial inspection we will move furniture in the rooms (except for very large items, such as pianos, wall units, entertainment centers, etc.)
Vacuuming Carpet. Dry soil, such as hair, lint, particle soil, dust, and debris must be removed from the carpet to the fullest extent practical before applying any cleaning products. Orion's carpet cleaners use powerful, professional vacuum cleaning equipment. According to IICRC standards dry soil removal is one of the most important steps in carpet cleaning.
Pre-conditioning. We pre-spray carpet with "Green Seal" certified cleaning solution before cleaning. It is necessary to loosen up all the dirt, still in carpet fibers, before hot water extraction.
Hot Water Extraction. Hot water extraction is preferred method for cleaning carpet by most carpet manufactures. Heat is the key to the removal of soil, especially oil based spots.
Spot Removal. Spots that are not removed during cleaning process will be removed with special spotting techniques. Removing spots is part of our cleaning process and included in price (permanent spots may not be removed)
Grooming Carpet. Grooming carpet is important step for decreasing dry time and for visual appearance.
Moving Furniture. After grooming your carpet we will move all furniture back to its original place. Protective pads will be placed underneath to protect furniture from moisture.
Drying Carpet. We use powerful air movers to dry your carpet. Average dry time is less than 3 hours (in some cases carpet may be not fully dry until the next day).
Carpet Deodorizer. Applying carpet deodorizer after professional carpet cleaning will help to eliminate unpleasant odors from your carpet. It will leave your carpet smelling fresh again.
Carpet Protector. We recommend applying carpet protector to help your carpet stay cleaner between cleaning (optional).
